Artist's Comments

Yeah, I probably could have given this some meaningful and epic title, but everyone knows I don't take any of my fandoms seriously enough to do that.

But what is this? Fanart? That isn't lighthearted or a joke? WAT? It still has no purpose to it. I just felt like drawing some stuff that I haven't drawn in a while, I was listening to some pretty epic music, I was bored, tada.

This took me a lot longer than I originally intended it to. Perhaps one day, I will be so lucky to actually have the balls to ink and color it, but for now, I'll keep it as is.

Big thanks to Defiler and /ic/ for the help with composition and overall flaws. It still has plenty, but the poor paper is starting to wither and die from being erased upon so much.

Pre-emptive: I know bridles don't work that wai. Talk to Takahashi, not me.

Does Takahashi know how anything works? j/k

I love seeing Yuugiou fanart that isn't in the generic girly-animu style. :B

On the other hand, I've thought of a possible title! "The Future Pwning of His Majesty" 8D

Indeed, a followup image is now in order, in which Bakura lobs the puzzle into Yams's face.

it kinda looks to me like they are going to make an epic trade and yami probably doesn't want to 'cause he might not get his puzzle back XD anyways, this is kewl! great job on all the little details :D

Whoa...it took me a while to realize that this was YGO fanart. And that's a compliment.

Something about that snake is still bugging me like mad. . .

But other than that, GLEEEEEEEEE. I second the 'fucking sweet' of the person before me; this came out great.

Epic music always results in fun for the whole family.

I used to have a pretty good handle on the Big Picture in life.
Then I got distracted by all the small shiny parts.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the biggest problem with the snake is the position combined with the heavy lineart, giving it this really bad two-dimensional look.

*slinks back after light-years of self-imposed DA-absence*

Doesn't matter if it doesn't have any particular deep meaning; it's still pretty.

It's probably one of those pictures that started out as a mere scribble during the last lengthy telephone call, began to look good, evolved beyond a mere sketch and ended up being more elaborate and brilliant than the artist ever intended them to be. Sadly, those kind of picture is often drawn on scrap paper, the telephone bill or your desk pad at work, so it's impossible to cut them out and turn them into a real picture on nice drawing paper.

I have a couple of those right on my desk right now. The desk pad is as ratty as can be, torn, smeared and fugly, and the fact that I'll have to tear the top layer off and throw them away soon is killing me.

I wouldn't mind seeing more of this kind of pictures, because they are much deeper than standard fanart pictures usually are.
